URGENT North Kessock Village Hall Needs New Board Members

The Board of the North Kessock Village Hall (SCIO) is basically a small group of members, whose main purpose is to maintain and run the village hall.  It consists of a group of charity trustees, with a Chair, a Vice Chair, a Secretary, a Treasurer, and Booking Secretaries along with a varying number of ordinary Board Members.

Over the years, the numbers have varied greatly.  At times, the Board has been large enough and robust enough to manage a range of activities from whist drives to concerts, dances and gala weeks. At other times (like at present), the Board has been very small, and has struggled to maintain the fabric of the hall. Many people in the village have, over the years, done their "stint" on the Board, but there is always a great need for extra people to join.

We are hoping to have the AGM in January 2020 and, having lost two Board members already this year, four other Board members have indicated that they will be standing down at the AGM.  This will result in insufficient numbers to form a new Board after the AGM and the Hall would have nobody to run it.

You need to be a member of the North Kessock Village Hall (SCIO) charity to be elected to the Board (see below to join the charity).  If you feel you would like to help, please contact any Board member or click the following to email Kessock Hall

If you would like to become a member of the North Kessock Village Hall (SCIO) charity please complete this application form and post it to the North Kessock Village Hall, Marine Drive, North Kessock IV1 3XS or email it to this point attaching the completed form. Membership is open to any individual aged 16 or over who is resident in the North Kessock postal district. The application will then be considered by the board at its next board meeting.

Board meetings are held at 7.00pm on the second Wednesday of each month, in the Meeting Room at the Hall, and the AGM will be held in early 2020 - date to be advised.
